Mike Hayes Skills Center Fall Registration

Call to sign up for classes @439-3027 or 439-2542 All classes will be offered September-December.

Basic Skills: This class is designed to assist in helping anyone in need to upgrade their reading, math or writing skills.

Math: Review basic math concepts; refine your algebra skills and industrial math.

Writing Skills: Learn to write reports, essays, resumes and letters. This class will be offered on Mondays. Call prior to Monday to state the skill that you are in need of, so that a lesson can be prepared for you. Call 439-3027-or 439-2542.

Windows/Internet/Word: This class is to review basic concepts and terminology of using a computer.

Windows: the usage of the mouse, starting programs and screen savers

Internet: Basics and E-mail. Word: word processing, editing, saving, formatting your documents. This class will be offered on Tuesdays 12-2 pm and 4-6 pm.

Introduction to Excel: Prerequisite Windows: Create Worksheets, Formulas and Formatting. This class will be offered on Wednesdays 12:30-2:30 pm and 4-6 pm.

Introduction to Spanish: This class will introduce Spanish for those who would like to learn Spanish as secondary language. This class will be offered on Thursdays 12-2 pm and 4-6 pm.

Income Tax Class: This class will help you with your income taxes. This class will be held on Mondays 4-6 pm.

We do have on-line/Self Paced Computer Classes and a Passkey program that is available during schedule Open Lab. Passkey will aid in preparing for GED or College Prep. Courses available are Math, Science, Social Studies, Writing, and Reading.
